I saw an ad for Pat Robertson's new book. The title? Miracles Beyond Measure. Does a miracle really need measuring? Isn't the word miracle in and of itself a measure? The tagline? Learn to pray with power and authority. The vision I got was a man that resembled Mr. Clean, posing in the mirror, praying in a South Park-esque way, telling God to respect "his authoritay!"I am sure that the 700 Club means well, but isn't God the one with the power and authority? The God I know is laughing, too!
